Green Zone Funding RFP

The City of Minneapolis Health Department is seeking proposals for the 2023 Green Zones Initiative with a total of $50,000 dedicated to supporting community projects in the Northside Green Zone or Southside Green Zone. Applications are due Monday, May 22nd by 4:00 pm!

Description

City of Minneapolis Health Department Sustainability, Healthy Homes and Environment released a Request for Proposals (RFP) on April 12, 2023, for the 2023 Green Zones community projects. The Green Zones community projects funding provides resources for community-led projects that implement the goals and strategies articulated in the Northside Green Zone Work Plan or Southside Green Zone Work Plan. As part of the 2023 Green Zones community projects, participating individuals or organizations will receive up to $5,000 or $10,000, respectively, to support the implementation of a project that advances environmental justice and aligns with the goals and strategies articulated in the Northside Green Zone Work Plan or Southside Green Zone Work Plan.
