Holidays on Hennepin is a month-long event along Hennepin Avenue in Uptown running from Thanksgiving through New Years. The goal of Holidays on Hennepin is to put the neighborhood back on the map as a major destination for food, entertainment, and retail.

Welcoming Week 2025
As part of Welcoming Week, the City of Minneapolis is hosting a litter pick-up on Friday, September 12, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. This is a volunteer service project to pick up litter together near E Lake Street and Hiawatha Ave.
