The Lake Street Art Drop & Shop is back! The Lake Street Art Drop & Shop scavenger hunt series features a variety of clues and local artwork to take home.

Check in with the Visit Lake Street table at Arbeiter Brewing Co to receive paper clues OR follow our Instagram and Facebook stories @VisitLakeStreet at 5:00 pm to see photo hints of the hidden art locations!

About the Artist - Crystal Sokuu

Crystal Sokuu is a talented visual artist, accomplished muralist, and passionate paint instructor dedicated to empowering individuals through art. With a focus on themes of women empowerment, self-discovery, and mental health, Crystal creates thought-provoking pieces that resonate with her audience on a deep emotional level. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Crystal facilitates engaging workshops tailored for youth and families, where she helps participants recognize and navigate their emotions through artistic expression. Her ultimate goal is to inspire others and share powerful stories through the transformative medium of art, making a positive impact on the community and beyond.

About the Artist - Taylor Tinkham

Taylor is an illustrator, urban gardener,  home cook,  and food preserver based in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She specializes in vibrant editorial illustrations, often featuring animals, plants, food, and nature. Recent illustration clients include Northern Gardener Magazine, Full Pour Magazine, Sow True Seed, All About Beer Magazine, the Green Dreamer Podcast, the Lake Street Council, and Springboard for the Arts. She is also a Master Gardener Volunteer and Food Preservation Consultant through UofM Extension. When she isn’t drawing or cooking, you can probably find her somewhere cozy with a book, swimming in a lake, or hiking in the woods with her dog, Cricket.

About the Artist - Anna Wienke

Motivated by a desire to cultivate creativity and build community connections, Anna has served as an arts administrator, community organizer, and creative entrepreneur. As a long-term resident, business owner, and visual artist in South Minneapolis, she supported the LynLake Street Art Series, and participated in the Lake Street Council’s Placemaking project, as well as the Lake Street Art Drop. Anna is currently working in an administrative role at the Children’s Theatre Company and represents Ward 10 as a commissioner on the Minneapolis Arts Commission Board. Anna prefers to create “functional art” because it tends to be out in the world bringing color and joy to many. Her collection includes painted shoes, bags, hats and jackets as well as home accents such as clocks and calendars.
