AEDS Emergency Small Business Relief Fund

African Economic Development Solutions (AEDS) is administering emergency relief funds to support small businesses that have experienced economic hardship due to recent immigration-related activity in Minnesota.

At this time, funding is prioritized for small businesses physically located in Saint Paul and Minneapolis. As additional funding becomes available, AEDS anticipates expanding eligibility to additional geographic areas.

To ensure transparency, equity, and community-informed decision-making, applications will be reviewed by a Community Advisory Committee in partnership with AEDS. The committee is made up of trusted community members. The committee will review applications to help ensure alignment with program criteria and equitable distribution of funds.

The information collected through this application is required to:

  • Verify business eligibility

  • Document economic impact

  • Ensure responsible stewardship of public funds
