Call for Proposals: Pop-Up Parks

Lake Street Council is planning a vibrant season of activating our corridor’s community spaces this year, and we need your help! We manage two community parks - El Nuevo Campo and Midtown Mini Park. We received some small grant funding to support pop-up programming and smaller community events this spring, summer, and fall. We’re looking for proposals to do the following:

• Art Installations: temporary murals, sculptures, or interactive public art. 

• Artist-led Workshops & Performances: printmaking, storytelling, music, dance, spoken word sessions, yoga, etc. 

• Other ideas to bring positive, art-related programming to our community's green spaces!

Activations should be held: June 1 - July 31, 2026
