The Lake Street community continues to step up for each other through relentless challenges, and right now is no exception. With the presence of federal immigration enforcement throughout the Twin Cities, many immigrant-owned businesses are struggling to stay afloat. It’s more important now than ever to support our community-members by shopping and dining locally at Lake Street’s many immigrant-owned businesses.
Mutual-aid groups are keeping their neighbors safe by delivering care packages, food baskets, and hygiene products to those that are unable to leave their homes due to safety concerns. We encourage you to explore the map of local grocery stores and markets found below, and support small businesses while stepping up for community-members.
