I.C.E Out of Minnesota: Day of Truth & Freedom
A collective effort is calling for a statewide strike of non-violent moral action against I.C.E. actions in Minnesota on Friday, January 23rd. The strike calls for no work, no school, no shopping or spending money. There will be a peaceful march and rally in downtown Minneapolis at 2:00 pm.
2025 - 2026 Office Closure
The Lake Street Council office is closed from Monday, December 22, 2025, through Friday, January 2, 2026. We will reopen and resume normal operations on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Keep Sidewalks Clear for Winter Cheer!
Lake Street Council encourages businesses and property owners to clear snow from the sidewalks around their property as quickly as possible to maintain good access. Minnesota snows are unpredictable and can dramatically change customer traffic flow, but maintaining clear sidewalks is one key element to reducing barriers for our customers and nearby residents.
